Who We Are
The Savannah Sisters are a group of modern-day queer nuns bringing joy to the deep south. We are devoted to community service, ministry, and outreach to those on the fringe. We are dedicated to promoting human rights, respect for others, diversity, and spiritual enlightenment.
We are a worldwide order of 21st-Century nuns dedicated to
the promulgation of universal joy and the expiation of stigmatic guilt.
We combat shame and exclusion for all people, with a particular focus on the LGBTQ+ community. We are guided in our work by our central values of activism for justice, service, community, and self-expression.
